In 2014 I discovered the stop motion films of the Brother's Quay and Jiri Barta, immediately offering another way to create. I could express much more through explorations in clay. The medium allows me to leave the thinking behind and just see what appears in my hands often surprising me. The malleability of clay, the sewing of costumes and the setting in which they live all speak to my love of textile and integrates all crafts together.
